Philosophy
We consider the child to be a gifted being with much more potential than commonly perceived, and with a social duty that connects him to the universe, impelling him to fulfill his mission of pursuing harmony in the world.
Our philosophy is based on Maria Montessori and on Pierre Faure. Maria Montessori was able to recognize the natural laws that rule the child’s development and the need to respect the child. Her carefully crafted educational system is derived from scientific research and uses materials that are naturally attractive for young children, allowing them to acquire knowledge through their sensory apparatus. The children use Montessori materials repeatedly and in deep concentration, emerging from their work with an immense sense of satisfaction.
Pierre Faure is incorporated into our elementary program to provide a well structured environment, ensuring that all areas of development are addressed.
